Jas and I had the pleasure of puppy sitting little Cosmo again recently. He was a good boy, except for when he did a wee upstairs – if you’re reading this mate, that wasn’t cool, I still haven’t forgiven you. Anyway, we got him out of the house and down to Burleigh one lazy Sunday for a little explore. He loves Burleigh. We kept him on his little leash, however, he still wouldn’t walk next to us and demanded to be carried. He can be a little diva sometimes, but can you blame him?
Kris: Look, Cosmo. Everything the light touches is our kingdom.
Kris: A King’s time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Cosmo, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.
Cosmo: And this’ll all be mine?
Cosmo: Everything the light touches…
Little Cosmo couldn’t keep his eyes off the seagulls. He decided to protect the beach and chase them around when they landed, and he was quite menacing. Unfortunately, he did run to chase one while we were sitting and I was holding his leash… lets just say I didn’t know Cosmo could cartwheel.
While we were in Burleigh, we decided to try Borough Barista for some delicious Campos coffee. We had attempted to hit Borough a few weeks earlier, but arrived just as they finished cleaning the machine. This time, we made sure we got a coffee and let me make this short review:
Do yourself a favour and get a latte from Borough. It was one of, if not the best coffees I have had from a cafe. And that was even from a paper take-away cup!
Head down for exams soon… blog posts may be few and far between.
